Hira Takehiro will be the guest star in episode 6 of TBS Autumn 2016 drama "IQ246 ~ Karei naru Jikenbo ~" which will be shown on 20 November. He will play the role of Kasahara Souichi who is a struggling artist unable to get any offers from galleries and has no luck with art competitions. Upon receiving news that his younger brother Ryoji (Wada Toshihiro) had passed away, Souichi rushes to Ryoji's apartment and meets Houmonji Sharaku (Oda Yuji) there who is investigating the crime scene. Subsequently, Sharaku starts to suspect Souichi as the murderer of Ryoji who was working in a securities company.
Hira commented that before he met Oda, he had the impression that the latter was a big star from a different dimension since he had only seen him on TV since he was a child. However, after working with him, Hira felt that Oda is a very serious actor who takes great pains to pay attention to details. As for the highlight in this episode, Hira said that the battle of wits between his character and Sharaku will be worth checking out especially how Souichi changed due to his poverty.
